The volume of the Russian domestic bond market by corporate, municipal and public sectors.
By the end of May, the volume of the Russian domestic corporate bonds amounted to RUB 14,094.04 billion. Compared to April, the market volume increased by 0.25%. Traditionally oil and gas industry issues take up the largest volume of the market — 28.9% (RUB 4,065.38 billion) of the total volume of the Russian corporate bonds. Bonds of banks — 22.8% (RUB 3,209.31 billion), financial institutions — 16.7% (RUB 2,358.3 billion), and other industries — 31.6% (RUB 4,445.87 billion).
In May, 18 issuers entered the market with 35 new issues placed (in April, there were 16 issuers with 32 new issues).
In May, there were two placements in the municipal bond segment. The total market volume increased by 0.23% and amounted to RUB 757.85 billion.
In May, the Ministry of Finance of Russia held 7 auctions on the placement of OFZs, the volume of the government bond market amounted to RUB 10,249.94 billion (in April, there were 9 auctions, 2 of which did not take place, the market volume was 9,898.79 billion rubles).
