“Ukraine could issue eurobonds at March 2003,” – Valerij Horoshkovskij, Ukrainian Minister of Economic Affairs reported.
“It has not been decided yet when the next issue will be, but it could happen in March,” – Mr. Horoshkovskij said after the meeting with IMF First Deputy Managing Director Anne Krueger.
Ukraine is needed about $1,6 bln for the debt service year 2003 keeping in mind roughly the same figures for year 2004. According to the Minister, Ukrainian government has received a number of offers from the banks and companies, showing an interest in eurobonds. The stock will have 5-10-year maturity and 7-9% yield.
