Ukraine registers lower unemployment

| The unemployment rate in Ukraine stood at 1.9 percent or 531,600 people in December 2009, RBC Ukraine reported today, citing the country's State Statistics Committee. In the previous month, unemployment stood at 512,200 people, or 1.8 percent of the population. Meanwhile, the highest unemployment level was registered in January and February - at 3.2 percent of the population. |
